We’ll discuss what to look for in themes, some of the issues with theme choices and “theme lock-in”. The default WordPress themes, 3rd party themes in the WordPress repository, premium themes and page builders will all be covered. We’ll also discuss child themes, and why you should have one for your site.

Finding the right plugins, and navigating through the large library can be hard. Come and hear about some personal tips and tricks I’ve found to make the selection easier. I’ll recommend some plugins based on what you need – and discuss the advantages of a paid plugin rather than just free.
